Arts Relief General Operating Support

Arts Relief general operating support (ARGOS) is a short-term grant program bolstering the regular budgets of Maryland’s arts organizations and arts programs in recognition of the continuing impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the arts sector.

A primary aim of the program is to provide flexible funding, allowing organizations to set their own spending priorities. A primary goal of the program is to provide intentional support to organizations whose efforts compose a significant portion of Maryland’s creative and economic activity.

Opportunities

ARGOS funds are available to programs already receiving general operating or arts programming support through certain MSAC grant programs in FY 2023.

ARGOS is part of a larger Arts Relief supplemental budget package being distributed as grants by MSAC in FY 2023.
