Professional Development Grant
The purpose of the Professional Development Opportunity Grant Program is to encourage and support relevant professional development opportunities for artists and arts organizations throughout Maryland. The Professional Development Opportunity Grant will assist artists and arts organizations to implement best practices through growth, learning, and discovery for economic sustainability.
All activities described in project-based application submissions to any funding program at the Maryland State Arts Council must demonstrate current alignment with the Maryland Strong: Roadmap to Recovery plan to be considered eligible.
Applying for a project grant: To be eligible for MSAC funding during the current Governor-declared State of Emergency, a project must be allowable in accordance with established safety standards at the time of application submission. Applying for a Grant
MSAC is currently accepting applications for FY21 funding (July 1, 2020 - June 30, 2021). Applications are available through Smart Simple.
