The Annapolis Arts District mission is to create economic development through arts and culture. Our vision for the community is a vibrant arts destination in Annapolis for residents and visitors while maintaining our values of encouraging creativity, collaboration, inclusion, and respect for cultural history.

Welcome to the Annapolis Arts District + Inner West Street — a unique neighborhood of galleries, professional creatives, arts education, restaurants, hotels and entertainment venues that stretch from Annapolis’ historic Church Circle all the way to the Bates Legacy Center. We have something for everyone including the symphony, ballet, and opera at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts. Museums and galleries include the Banneker-Douglas Museum, Chesapeake Children's Museum, Annapolis Collection Gallery, Gallery 57 West, Kim Hovell Art and Nancy Hammond Editions. Check out national bands at Rams Head On Stage, jazz at 49 West Coffeehouse, and local musicians at Metropolitan Kitchen, enjoy an outdoor performance at Stage One or take an art class with friends at Wine and Design. Between all of these destinations you will discover public art, great places to dine, hotels, and popular events like the First Sunday Arts Festivals, Dinner Under the Stars, Juneteenth, holiday parades and the Annapolis Film Festival.
