Excitement, passion, lyricism, and expressiveness are all qualities which I try to bring to each performance, whether it be as soloist with orchestra, collaborative or solo work.
Performing the great works of the piano literature is a true joy, and there also should be that element of joy there for the audience as well…a certain feeling of being entertained….so that they feel a song in their hearts and the melodies lingering in their minds long after leaving the concert hall.
While I admire what composers are currently doing, and am happy to champion their works, I believe also in always including the familiar in my programming.
This is something I hear as a kind compliment throughout my travels nationwide to many community concert series, and it thrills me to know that I’m on the same page with my audiences. Part of my active repertoire, are also programs which feature crossover / pops programming, in my own virtuoso piano transcriptions.
A graduate of The Juilliard School, Pandolfi earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees as a scholarship student. He is the father of two beautiful children and resides in Washington, DC.
Educational outreach programs are a passion of mine, as we as performers must continually find new ways to excite, inspire and draw our audiences of tomorrow into the music and into the venues.
I also am always happy to offer workshops for music teachers, provide an opportunity for Q & A with them and/or their students with regard to insight into repertoire and/or life as a touring artist. I love also to present master classes for students whenever possible. For information on fees for this programming, please contact the artist.
