Fall Arts Season Gets Underway

September 04, 2015News

As summer winds down and fall begins, the state is overflowing with great opportunities for all to enjoy as the arts are brought to the forefront in many Maryland communities.

County Arts Councils, local arts organizations and Arts & Entertainment Districts are planning new exhibits, celebrating milestones, holding festivals and putting on performances. With all these events, many of them free, the MSAC invites families to continue to discover the excellence and diversity of the arts in Maryland.

Highlights include the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra turning 100 as it opens its Centennial Season on September 17 at the Music Center at Strathmore. The Baltimore Book Festival begins Friday, September 25 and wraps up on September 27 in downtown Baltimore. Arts September Maryland.
