Yeshiyah Eaton (Children’s West African Dance and Hip Hop)
Yeshiyah Eaton is a talented professional dancer, actress, mentor , teacher and artist. At the tender age of 2, she started dancing. She was trained in modern dance under Maria Broom and African dance under Baba Kauna Majamal when she joined Sankofa Dance Theater. While still a teenage, Yeshiyah joined WombWorks Production a social change performing arts company in Baltimore Maryland.Ms. Eaton has experiences trained in the performing arts, mentoring Youth , community theater , community outreach and youth outreach. Yeshiyah is a member of Nu World Arts Ensemble a alumni company of WombWorks Production. She is also a member of Urban Foli.She landed on B.E.T 106th & Park as a back up dancer. Yeshiyah spends her time teaching hip hop and African dance for seasonal camps, schools, and children’s programs. Currently Yeshiyah is a teacher assistant in the Baltimore city school system and teaches The Living Well’s children’s dance classes every Saturday morning.
