Artist Bio

Tyler Yvette Wilson is a multidisciplinary artist who primarily works with photography and video to describe the malleability of language, memory and children’s perception of social structures. She was born in Charlotte but raised in Austin and Atlanta. Tyler returned to Charlotte to earn a degree at Davidson College. After graduating with a B.A. in Studio Art, she moved back to Atlanta for post-baccalaureate studies at Oglethorpe University.  She is currently earning her M.F.A. at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in the Mount Royal School of Art.
