Artist Bio

Hello, My name is Nick McMahon. I am so proud to have signed up to be a part of  the Maryland State Arts Council, at this time it is so important to support, create and teach art throughout the country and I  am glad to begin my journey here! I have lived in many cities and met a lot of artistic and amazingly gifted people. In NYC I attended The American Academy Of Dramatic Art where I studied acting and scenic design. In California I painted for Universal Studios and continued learning different techniques to use in my own art that I still use to this day. I now reside in Nottingham MD, I am a husband to an amazing man, a foster father and work fulltime ontop of finding whatever time there is to create. I look forward to meeting many of you and again, thank you all so much for having me.
