Artist Statement

Green Moss, Speckled Stones, smooth leaves, faded shells………….. the world is full of beautiful color, texture and light. I look to see what colors are naturally combined. Red Rocks in Colorado is a group of large rocks that have a variation of fiery reds, terracotta orange with muted tans and mustard yellows. Nature’s exterior design can influence interior design. I love how wood is worn from the wind and elements, shells are softened by the sea. Most things in nature are gentle decaying. I love to imitate that imperfection.
