Artist StatementI am a painter and calligrapher. I have been working in the area of Judaic art for the last twenty-five years. I also do secular painting. I make Jewish marriage contracts on commission.
Marsha Goldfine has been working as a professional artist since 1968. She received her B.F.A. degree from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI and her M.F.A. degree from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, IL. She is a graduate of the Center for Creative Studies, Detroit, MI. Her work has been exhibited in numerous juried exhibitions: Writs of Passage, B'nai B'rith Klutznick Museum, 1984 The Beauty of Holiness, National Museum of American Jewish History, 1985, Heaven on Earth, Goldman Gallery, JCC of Greater Washington, Two person show Temple Emanuael, Virginia Beach. Mrs. Goldfine's work has been featured on the cover of the Washington Jewish Week. Mrs. Goldfine is a mamber of ArtSites, Guild for Judaic Art.
