Artist Bio

Karena Ingram is a contemporary music and video game composer based in Baltimore. With beginnings in music composition and violin performance since the age of 9, Karena currently works as a freelance composer in Maryland. A recent graduate from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a degree in music composition, her works have been performed regularly, most notably as part of the Livewire Festival, and her works Cytokinesis and Gaea’s Nature were selected for the UMBC Honors Recital in 2015 and 2014, respectively. She has been active in the UMBC Gamer Developer’s Club, which featured music in their mobile app games.
