Artist Statement

I paint the disappearing landscapes of the Chesapeake region.

Artist Bio

Jimmy Reynolds' artwork focusses on the disappearing landscape of the Chesapeake region. Reynolds utilizes photo archives and family memories to create vibrant painted visions of Bay Country including both rural and cityscapes in his body of work. Reynolds studied printmaking, painting and photography at the University of Delaware. He graduated with a BS from Wilmington College and he is currently the art director and boatbuilding coordinator at Radcliffe Creek School in Chestertown, MD.
