MSAC Individual Artist Award (IAA)2012
I have been a professional photographer for over twenty-five years. Since my earliest days developing pictures in a bathroom turned darkroom in my parents' basement I have used a camera to tell stories. I learned my craft at the Maryland Institute College of Art, and I learned my trade at the Baltimore City Paper and the Baltimore Sun. As a freelance photographer I always take a personal approach to any assignment and never give less than my fullest attention. I work for clients as varied as AARP, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and the Lou Gehrig’s Disease Association. My work has appeared in the Philadelphia Inquirer, The San Francisco Examiner, and the Los Angeles Times.
