Artist Bio

Welcome to Hannah Keyes Photography & Books!  I am an author, artist, and a photographer of over a decade.  My roots are in black and white film photography and darkroom work, but since I have expanded into digital work as well.  Wildlife and nature make up the majority of my photography focus. 

As an author and artist, I have written and illustrated several books, many inspired by my family’s numerous amusing pets.  My sister, Sarah, of Sarahbor Cartoons, has been my co-author and illustrator for many of our children’s and humor books.  Additionally, I write novels and short stories for people of all ages to enjoy.  When not behind a camera or writing and editing stories, I also run the online store, Modomnoc’s Bees, which features all manner of handmade home decor, wool felted items, bath & body products, unique gifts, hand painted soap, and more.
