In her creative work, Emily seeks to ignite conversation around perspective through her painting, photography, and writing. Emily works in a studio in the Woodberry neighborhood in Baltimore City, where she creates bold bright paintings of flowers and horizons, photographs the creative process and the natural world, and writes about gratitude, light, and wonder. Emily’s work has been shown locally in recent years at Fleckenstein Gallery, Bozzuto Greene Art, Towson Arts Collective, and The Center Club, and is held in numerous private collections in the Baltimore area.
In addition to her creative work, Emily has served in a variety of volunteer roles in the community, including having served on the boards of Art with a Heart, Beth Am Synagogue, the Parents’ Association of Park School, and the Institute for Christian and Jewish Studies. Emily currently serves on the board of The Darrell D. Friedman Institute for Professional Development, and the newly formed Center for Leadership, a program of The Associated.
