Artist Statement

Creates abstract works of art representing unique life forms that are largely influenced by his African heritage.

Artist Bio

Dale O've Jackson is an Artist/Registered Architect who graduated from Hampton University with a Bachelor of Architecture (1976), and Virginia Tech with a Masters of Architecture in Urban Design (1978).  During his undergraduate education he also studied sculpture (metal/clay), drawing, ceramics and began painting while earning his graduate degree.  Mr. Jackson received a Mercer County Artist Award in 1979 (New Jersey) for one has collages, and has participated in various Juried Art Shows in New Mexico and Maryland.  He was also a member of the United States Snow Sculpture team (1986) that competed in Sapporo Japan.   Mr. Jackson has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Asia, and Africa which has served as a major catalyst for his creativity and imagination.
