Artist Statement

CT Photography specializes in digital photographs of flowers, nature, and landscapes. My goal is to take the beauty that I see through my camera lens and share it with others. My photography is very different from the floral and landscape photography you may be used to. The image of a flower or landscape is merely the beginning of my process. After downloading the image to my computer, I carefully layer up to 20 individual textures on top of the image. As I layer and adjust each texture, I strive to preserve the clarity and beauty of the image, while adding additional dimension and depth not commonly seen with floral and landscape photography.
