The goal of the Technology Enhancement Program is to encourage technology planning and build the administrative and artistic capacity of Maryland arts organizations and county arts councils through grants for the purchase of technology items specific to the needs of the organization and/or their artistic endeavors.

Technology planning assists organizations to appropriately integrate the use of technology tools to meet program goals and improve operations. Building the technological capacity of the organizations can lay a foundation for creating a greater overall capacity for the organizations and their artistic products.
