Ineligible Poems List 2012-2013

Only poems listed on the National Endowment for the Arts’ Poetry Out Loud page are eligible for recitation in Maryland. http://www.poetryoutloud.org

No poems from the anthology may be chosen. It is highly recommended that teachers and students double check whether or not the poem is on the website before memorization begins. Choosing a poem only found in the anthology will result in disqualification.
