Teri Rizzutti, a full-time professional artist, has been exhibiting her work since age 11. A Maryland resident since birth, Teri’s natural artistic abilities were noticed early on. In elementary school she was asked by the staff to “teach art” to her 4th grade classmates. So honored by this request, Teri pushed past her shyness, created a weekly curriculum and stood in front of the classroom guiding her peers through the lessons. Teri majored in Fine Art at Towson University yet the thrill of teaching never faded. Throughout her career Ms. Rizzutti has offered lessons to students ranging from 4 – 12. After traveling throughout the country for over a decade, exhibiting at art shows and gallery events, the artist has settled into her Howard County, Maryland studio. It has been her personal and passionate mission to keep the arts alive and accessible. In pursuit of this dream Teri opened the doors to a unique and interactive art environment. Rizzutti Fine Art merges working art studio with gallery showcase. 6 days a week, visitors are privy to meet the artist, discuss works in progress and experience the creation process first hand.
