The collection of my work is characterized with unusual compositions, unnecessarily long titles, and portraying emotions with abnormal sexual undertones. My paintings show my life as i see it, a constant movie. The compositions, angles, and emotions portrayed to the viewer are what i think make my work so unique. I have a way of twisting a seemingly boring setting into an exciting new environment in which the model is placed. I like to think my paintings as having a cinematic feeling that reflect my fascination with pop art, specifically of the 1970's. However, I have taken this sense and have made it into my own, focusing less on recognizable icons and turning my models into my own icon. Within my style I often try to depict my subjects through a retro perspective with specific lighting, dress, and atmosphere of the setting. The background space and overall mood often reflect the emotional states of my subjects in my paintings. However, the models still remain the central focus of the pieces. In formulating compostions I often perceive my models from an unconventional viewpoint, in turn creating dynamic and captivating compostions.
