Artist Statement

My art straddles the disciplines documentation and expression, honed in years of performing and visual arts. I speak fluently in steel, wood, acrylic and illustrative verse. I communicate in functional or decorative installation, in two, three or four dimensions. Through the process of collecting photography, paintings, and by taking field notes and sketches, I study and document the places and inhabitants of our realities as an explorer from our fictions. In turn these elements are distilled and used to create something new.My art straddles the disciplines documentation and expression, honed in years of performing and visual arts.
