Artist Statement

Earth, Sky and Water Where civilization and its interior monuments meet earth, sky and water! When I look at galleries, churches, basketball courts, etc., I see a vast expanse of floor space and sometime ceiling space. In that space I visualize an ocean of water or a rich sky. It’s my way of bringing nature inside and incorporating the natural world into the man-made world. New technologies make it possible to assemble any number of images together in a multifaceted arrangement. With this art I have been able to create an element of atmospheric quality, a sense of time, or an emotional undertone. This has enabled me to convey a poetic mystery or a magical aura around these works of art.
