Artist Statement

My work explores the relationship human beings have with their surrounding environments, both natural and man-made, suburban and urban. Through image manipulation and the re-contextualizing of symbols, the work creates new perspectives for the viewer to consider when confronted with their own relationship with the environment. Each series of work explores different aspects of footprint that humans have left on the earth and our connection to it.
