Artist Bio

Mary Anne Arntzen was born in Riverside, California.  In 2004 she earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts in painting from Boston University, and in 2010 she earned a Master of Fine Arts from the Mount Royal School of Art at the Maryland Instititue College of Art.  In 2013 she mounted a solo exhibiton with ICA Baltimore.  her work has been shown in California, New England and throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.  She has completed residencies at the Vermont Studio Center and Woodstock Byrdcliffe Guild.  Arntzen teaches at the Maryland Institute College of Art, George Washington University, and the Community College of Baltimore County and is a member of the ICA Baltimore advisory board.  Mary Anne Arntzen lives and works in Baltimore, Maryland.
