Artist StatementI love the vibrancy of pastels and enjoy painting the many subjects that interest me - from city, land, and waterscapes to portraits, figures, and animals. Through strong, dynamic compositions and exciting color I strive to evoke a mood and a sense of place, or the essence of a character and hope to convey to the viewer the spark that inspired me to create the painting.
