Artist Bio

Jeffrey Stockbridge (b.1982) moved to Philadelphia in 2001 to study Photography at Drexel University. After completing his degree, Jeffrey earned “Runner Up” in the New York Times Magazine College Photography Contest for his series, Occupied. The culmination of this work was realized in a limited edition artist book and exhibited at The Fleisher Art Memorial Challenge Exhibition in 2006. Since then, Jeffrey’s work has been featured in several major group shows on the east coast including, The Philadelphia Museum of Art, The State Museum of Pennsylvania, The Institute of Contemporary Art in Pennsylvania, The Delaware Art Museum, The Delaware Center for Contemporary Art and J. Cacciola Gallery in New York. Jeffrey is a recent recipient of a PA Council on the Arts Grant, an Independence Foundation Fellowship in the Arts Grant, and a Center For Emerging Visual Artists Fellowship. His work is in the collection of The Delaware Art Museum and numerous private collections.
