Artist Bio

The photographs by Jeffrey Mahn are an intriguing collection of images from around the world. From the Great Wall of China to the beaches of the Galapagos Islands, from the majestic beauty of the Arctic Circle to the mountains of New Zealand, the photographs in the collection capture the discovery and the adventure that travel can bring. Most of the photographs were taken volunteering for a year as a teacher in China or while studying for almost three years at university in Denmark. Jeffrey?s favorite means of traveling is to backpack, preferably on a bicycle. Traveling in this manner opens up the landscape to discovery and inspires conversations with other travelers along the way. Jeffrey moved to the Baltimore area in March of 2004. Since that time, his photographs have been shown in numerous, local galleries in the Baltimore area. Jeffrey still travels and most recently photographed images in the Galapagos Islands.
