Artist Bio

My Name is Isabel Sheeley, I have been an Artist for over 25 years.

My love for art started when I was a little girl, when I would dabble in drawing to keep busy, I would draw just about everything and anything that was in front of me; even thought I wasn't very good I still tried my best to perfect it.  I then picked up painting, crafting and especially photography.

In high school I began exploring all types of art to see where my passion would fall. No matter what I did my love for photography grew with each day. I couldn't help but capture the beauty I found in everything; staging the perfect picture for all to see. I would sometimes go back and forth to the same loction before I would get the ultimate lighting.  Even though photography is what I have done for the past 15 years, my love for art spills into so many kids of art.

I have taken my cameras to so many different locations, taken so many different images and worked with so many different subjects. I can honestly say that my camera has explored so many differences. I call myself a professional photographer, but in reality I'm just a passionate person with a camera. I love lifesytle photography, portraits, weddings, still life and even food photography.

I have taken my love for Art and my passion to expose art to so many people to where I can do the most effect. Laurel Woods Elementary School is the school where my children attend, I have a 5th grader and a kindergartener. I have joined forces with our schools PTA to bring in an after school art program to the students at Laurel Woods.

I feel that art is the foundation to all education and the strength to education are our children.
