Guy moshayov is an Artist currently residing in Baltimore, Maryland. Born in 1988 in Tel Aviv Israel, Moshayov moved to the U.S. at the age of 24 to pursue his B.F.A studies at Maryland Institute College of Arts. During his Undergraduate studies he participated in several juried exhibitions, including a solo show at the Pinkard gallery. He also worked as an ESL student mentor on campus, and as a residential advisor of the international students community.
At 18 Moshayov started 3 years of mandatory service in the Israeli army as a medic instructor, course commander, and a graphic user interface developer and animator at the Technology Based Training unit of the Medical corp’s school. He received an excellence award and 2 appreciation awards for his leadership in the Medical Corps. Following his military service, he worked as a Web Designer at the Israeli start-up “Vertical Place”, and as a freelancer Designer.
Guy has traveled to various countries in Europe and America, yet he did most of his extensive travelings in Africa, which greatly influenced his work.
