Artist Statement

Baltimore area photographer Edwin Remsberg specializes in documentary location photography and digital imaging. Remsberg is best known for his environmental portraits and projects focused on agriculture and Maryland.

Artist Bio

Edwin Remsberg is a photographer based in Maryland making documentary images in the photojournalism tradition. He received a B.S. in photojournalism from the University of Maryland, College Park. Remsberg's career began as an intern at the News American in 1985. He was a staff photographer for The Baltimore Sun for three years until he left in 1989 to become a freelance photographer, shooting pictures for magazines and corporate clients. Remsberg's photos appear regularly in regional and national magazines. In 1987 his photograph of the Amtrak disaster at Chase, Maryland was chosen by Life magazine for their
